How to edit X-ref

Hello,

I just need to edit the Xref in a drawing. I tried the 'Edit Xref in place', but still it doesn't work. When I right click the Xref and choose 'Edit Xref in place' option, I get this tab, which I have added as an image.Capture.PNG

Are you trying to edit an xref'd drawing?  Is that image in the xref, or in your drawing?  Because that's the error message you see when an image has been detached.  You could use the Xref Manager to select and open the xref drawing.  

 

What happens next if you click OK to detach the image?  Does it proceed to editing the xref?
