How to create drawing-frame surrounded with XY-coordinate in civil 3D

Dear Sirs,

Any tips about how to create a frame which surrounding the drawing and showing the XY on its edge with an increment of 100m or 250m between each  XY. in civil 3D (see the attachment)! I thought about creating an alignment style which include labels with XY?

Thank you so much for your help

Kindly regards

Dear Friend,

You can draw polylines along the frame.

Then use divide command to divide the polylines in to desired spacing.

Then delete polylines.

Now you will have set of points at the spacing you created.

Use convert auto cad points to civil 3d points to label them. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-hAVXj-vAA&index=3)

Select civil 3d points and set them to display x,y cordinates using display style.

Thanks

If you want to place a grid in your PS layout (based on your viewport) like this

then there are several lisps that will do it for you - one such example is attached

Save the lsp to a convenient location, type APPLOAD and browse to the file and OK to load it, type vpgrid to run it.

You must be in paperspace and have a viewport created
