How to create best fit profile with min. Vertical Curve radius

Hey there 🙂

We need to create road profiles for lowboys with high minimum vertical curve radius, in this case 500m circular.

When creating a best fit profile on surface, I can set maximum radius but no minumum.

Is there a way to utlize the best fit profile fuction for this case or are we better off drawing straights with curves by hand?

Thank you for your time 🙂

Click on the Settings tab on your Toolspace.  Then expand the Profile section.  Then expand the Commands section.  Then Right-Click on CreateProfileLayout and select Edit Command Settings.

From there you can edit the different properties.  Any changes made are only in that drawing file but are saved when you save your drawing.  If you have a design template, then you would want to make the same changes in that file as well if the changes you make are wanted in future projects as defaults.

Found it! Thanks 🙂

However, these settings seem to apply to the Create Profile Layout Command but not to the Create BestFit Profile Command, or am I wrong?

I should have read your post a little bit closer, sorry about that.  For best fit profile, I am not sure.  I usually only use the CreateProfileLayout command.
