How to best smooth contours at this site?

I have a pad grading that has a slight slope to it. The boundaries of the pad daylight at a 10:1 slope.

The contours within the pad are wavy due to the way the triangles were created. What's the best way to smooth these out while retaining the integrity of the surface?

If I create two feature lines within the same grading site longitudinally and assign elevations from the surface (without inserting intermediate grade break points), it appears to do what I want, I'm just not sure how this is affecting the overall surface elevations or if there is a better way.

1. Did you select SMOOTH SURFACE on the Surface Properties Tab?

2. Quite frankly they do not look bad at all.

But if you want to make it look like a machined surface you can draw a few Feature Lines (same elevation as the contour line) on top of the contour lines.  Place the FLs on a non-printing layer and add them to the surface.

Thanks for the reply. I've never played around with the surface smoothing feature. That did exactly what I was looking for. Thx!
