How to automatically calculate area of multiple closed polylines?

I have this hundreds of closed polylines in different layers. Now I want to calculate the total area for each object/layer type.I would be nice if I have a dynamic table containing the data.

* I dont want to use "Area" cmd and select each PL

*I dont want to create parcels.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Fantastic! Glad it worked for you.

I don't know of any sites that gathered all the Dynamo scripts that are floating out there, but Dynamo for C3D forums is a good place to check https://forum.dynamobim.com/c/civil3d/17

Wow! Thanks for the FYI. I'm sure other forum users didn't  know either.

I typically turn on menubar so I can see the old menus and then "menuload"  "mapclassic"... to add the map pull-down menu.  Use it a lot!

I have been trying to follow your example. In step 3 after  you start Dynamo you say open the folder where you saved PolylineAreas.dyn . I dont have this file and it wasn't in the download with the file PolylineAreas.dwg.  Where do I get the file PolylineAreas.dyn.

👍Very interesting solution. Can you explain a bit about the bounding box process you incorporated in your graph?
