how get sweep path length in custom PSet mask

Hi all

I'm modeling a crash steel barrier, where the guard rail is a sweep 3dsolid made by a closed shape along a 3dpoly.

Well, I want my PSet mask  shows the path length. The only way I know is volume (automatic definition)/section_area (manual definition), as in image attached.

Is there a way to get with an automatic formula (something like "object.length") the property I need?

Thanks in advance

Dario

This could easily be done in Dynamo if you are interested in using that.

Thanks Zachri, maybe in a future I'll learn about Dynamo.

I'd hope there was an easiest way, because in property design panel, I see that is a sweep solid and its length (see attached picture). I just need to display that info in my PSet panel.

Ah OK, I see what you mean. If I remember correctly, those geometry properties are difficult to access with VBA. Sorry to not be of help. You may have more luck in the AutoCAD Customization forum.
