How do you show a pressure network with vertical run in a profile view?

How do you create a profile view for a vertical run like this below? I was a bit of a challenge modeling this in the first place. I had to model this segment by parts and use "create pipe run from parts" to turn this into a run. Even then, putting it in a profile doesn't seem to want to work. It will either select the entire network or cause the segment to break into a mess of parts.

I attached the file for anyone who wants to try.

Hi  @hchanZFNCT

Could you explain your demand better, yes it is possible to generate a Profile from the pipe below, we can also generate this effect of changes of direction in 90 degrees from the profile.

I highly recommend this video: Getting Started Modeling Pressure Networks in Civil 3D - YouTube

Good Luck !

How do I draw it in profile view? I get weird errors when I try to put it in profile view. I've seen that video and its very good. Sorry if i'm not being clear enough.

I get the error below if I try to modify in the profile view.

And the result of the error is below.

If I try to use a design profile to force the pipe into a shape, this is the result. Notice how it doesn't want to follow the 90 degree angles.

Just make a 3d poly and do it another soft

sorry to not be of much help maybe the

curse is trying to put the pipe on profile

You basically have to fake it until it looks close enough.  as stated, even a small amount should allow it, but it cant be straight vertical, the profile entity wont allow it.

Dear Users

Yes C3D is made for not being good at vertical type shapes well there are lots of vertical objects out there well = endless

please find attached Pdf a form of study in subclass assembly composted and note on the profile the thickness of
the vertical pipe but looks alright ??? well sort off.

the pipe runs in vert watch stations are about 5mm apart.

Yes, is worked.

Top Pdf left is the madding assembly to build the lock block wall.

It worked ask me today do the same good luck on remember how.

Regards
