How can i get at least similar sub-assemblies respect to the project design as

Hi All,

 

Please, can you help me to figure out how to get subassemblies similar to my project in civil 3d?

I was looking but I can't get.

Do u have any idea how to edit even the existing subassemblies to attain the project standard?

 

can anyone help me urgently?

 

Please find the attached pdf for more information how I need the subassemblies looks like.

If you are okay with using subassemblies generated in Subassembly Composer there are a few .pkt files that were generated in this thread which look very similar to what you are looking for (LINK). I've attached one of the pkt file that I worked on for that thread to this reply, but I urge you to look at the link to see further discussion.

Hi-

 

@KMercier_C3D is right that you will have the most flexibility using Subassembly Composer.  Her .pkt should work great for you.  However, to get the guardrail / Daylight you need, you will have to add the subassembly "Daylight  General".  Check out the help file for it to see how it applies.

Glad to help...if you have trouble with the .pkt, you can try to build something with default subassemblies in Civil 3D.  This screen cast shows an option to consider.  However, the width of the lower layers won’t maintain the proper widths if you’re targeting varying alignments representing the outside lane edges.  This is where Kati’s subassembly is superior.  Her base layers react dynamically with offset changes...super cool.
