[HELP] How do I create a dynamic sub-assemblies to follow a certain line?

Attached is sample of a scenario where i want to automate to extend/shorten my slope (blue line) so i can extract the actual volume from it. The yellow line depicts the existing grade line, so it varies dramatically in every station. 

*my sub-assemblies are created through a polyline only.

*i am using Civil3D 2022

I'm not a program techie so i don't know if this is possible.
