HELP!!!! clicking on object right clicking properties

Geeeeez,I have no idea what I did to my drawing tonight....This is frustrating......Now if I click on an object.......right click.......select properties.....the dialog box pops up and says no selection!!!! What have I done????

Thank god I saved a separate template.....It works fine....this started when I was trying to post how to rotate a view.....Did I corrupt my drawing or something?

I've experienced this problem in the past couple of releases.

The object in question is still highlighted, but it says "no objects selected".

After the Properties palette comes up and says no selection, just hit ESC a few times and select the object again.

Pressing ESC may or may not clear the highlighting of the object.  You may have to REDRAW.

Another thing to check is the value of PICKFIRST.

Thanks... I just wrote it off as a corrupt drawing and opened a new template.....
