Has global Level Of Detail been replaced by surface-by-surface option?

Has the previous Level Of Detail formerly found in the Ribbon (IIRC under View) been replaced with setting Level Of Detail on a surface-by-surface basis?

I've searched around and can't find anything specific.  There are references to the commands "LevelOfDetail" and "LevelOfDetailOff" but they aren't valid commands in Civil 3D 2026.2.1

I believe it has.

Right clicking on the Surface on the Prospector Tab should offer you High or Reduced level of detail. If you do this at the Surface Level. It will apply to all the Surfaces in the tree. If you expand the tree to see the individual Surfaces. You can change the Level of Detail for the Surfaces individually.

This update happened in the 2025 original shipping version (not an update) LEVELOFDETAILOFF will give you an unknown command, and per Allen, it is now per surface.  It will change the icon of your surface blue.
