I suppose you have a corridor, right? One nice alternative is using feature lines (FLs). You may extract the crown FL here, FL from Corridor >>> Select the Crown >>> Select one of them:

And this FL is dynamic with your corridor! Now, to the grade.
Civil 3D >>> Annotate tab >>> Add Labels >>> Feature Line >>> Add Feature Line Labels. On this dialog box, select "Multiple Segment", edit the label style to add the grade information to your label like this:

You may add a text before the grade value in the Text Component Editor, like "Slope:". You may change fonts, sizes and so on, if necessary. Once the label style is ok, you may add it to your "AutoCorridor FL". The spacing between labels is related to your corridor frequency and grade breaks from the alignment's profile.
