Getting a Cut instead of Fill ( using a Generic Link Slope to surface subassembly)

I'm having a problem while using the Generic Link Slope to surface subassembly. 

getting a Cut instead of Fill link.

any Suggestion ?

Hi @yaseenw.1 , 

 

In the first place I would suggest to check if the target surface allows to generate a link properly:

  • For cut - the target surface should be above the subassembly attach point
  • For fill - the target surface should be below the subassembly attach point

Are those conditions met?

you can check the pics I attached in the post, i think i've made all the conditions as they should be.

i've found out how to fix this issue.

the correct way to define this Subassembly is to set it to " Cut Only " or " Fill only " in the subassembly properties. while defining the properties this way the daylights won't get wrong.
