Get Mark Point not functioning with non parallel baselines

I am attempting to test a theory, and working to set up a custom subassembly. In the subassembly I am utilizing the get mark point function, but when my baselines are not parallel the point produced is not extending back to the marked point line.
I know it is possible with the Link to Mark Point 2 Subassembly, but I am trying to build a custom subassembly that will also incorporate other functions, this is only step one.
I have attached a basic DWG and PKT file.
I am currently running C3D 2025.0.1
