Geotechnical Module: Reducing the thickness of well hole models

Hi all,

I have been playing around with the Geotechnical Module for Civil 3D and I was wondering if it is possible to change the thickness of the well hole/bore hole data that you import.

We have a lot of holes to import and the default size of the Geotechnical Modules models makes it hard to differentiate between them.

Thanks in advance,

Zac

I’m not sure I understand what you need. Are you saying the strata is too thin and difficult to visualize? If that’s the case then you can ‘stretch’ the core using exaggeration.

In the geotechnical module click the Locations icon then increase the EXAGGERATION value that’s displayed in the top left.
