Feature line object layer settings for site name in layer suffix

I was told it is possible to create an object layer setting that will add the site name as a suffix to a feature line layer. I see in the help menu that you can a * as a suffix to automatically add the object name as a suffix, but does anyone know how to add the site name as the suffix?

I can't think of anything automatic if your intent is to have more than one site in a drawing. When you create a Feature Line, and step through the naming dialogue box, you can create a new layer for it on the fly.

Maybe someone will chime in with something clever.

Edit drawing settings, go to object layers, under feature line, select the layer that you want the object to be in (eg. C-FEAT), change modifier as "suffix" and add "*" as value. 

This should do the trick.
