I am having some issues with my grading workflow which I've never had before. My company does mostly subdivision design and civil site construction. When I am designing out these subdivisions, I start by running a corrdor with our typical section, creating connected alignments for the intersections, and so on. Once I've finished modeling out the roads, I'll pull feature lines from the corridor and assign them to a site for grading (in this case, the site is "Block 1"). Then, I'll run another feature line along the back property line and assign EG elevations and assign it to the same site, create feature lines for building pads and infill them, and run feature lines from the corridor to the EG feature line to tie it in. Finally, I'll use grading infill to infill all of the lot grading enclosed by these feature lines, and all of these gradings will be pasted into a surface along with the corridor surface to create the final surface. In the file I've posted below, the builder likes to have swales between their pads so I've ran feature lines between each pad to create this.
Now, in this file for some reason, I'm having several issues. I'll number them.
1. My corridor feature lines are not displaying and cannot be selected.
2. The surface is jumping up right outside the curb (see the screenshot of my object viewer).
3. The pad elevations are not reflective of the feature line elevation that are assigned to them (if you look into my drawing, if you zoom into the pads I have spot elevation labels. If you click on the feature line, you'll notice the elevation labels show the pads are a foot higher than the feature line elevation).
I'm thinking this file is corrupted somehow. It's very possible because I have already had to recover the file a couple times. If anyone has a solution or a workaround, please let me know. Thanks!
