Feature line - convert elevation point to PI

Does anyone know of a lisp that will do this? We are setting feature line elevations to 0 and exploding them to get polylines but elevation points are not shown as a vertex in the polyline after we explode.

I think the lisp routine, "SurveyFigureTo2dPolylinues" from another post I read will do what your asking.

I tried that one but it simply exploded the feature line and converted it from a 3d polyline a 2d polyline. With that operation it does not make elevation points to PIs and they are lost. I need to have a vertex on the poly line at every elevation point. Appreciate the response!

@Jeff_M any chance you have a lisp that will convert feature line PIs to elevation points? It seems like it could be a nice work around for removing PIs without losing the feature line geometry (convert PIs to elevation points, delete the elevation points).

It sounds like the PI's you want to remove are colinear. In that case try the Weed Features command.

@forrestrike attached is a lisp that replaces colinear PI's with Elevation points.

@jmayo-EE does weeding do that? If so, I haven't found a way to set the options up properly.
