Extract solids from surface

I am a student and I use the Civil 3D version for students with Windows 10 OS. I have a surface (a digital terrain model) and by selecting it I want to extract a solid from it. So the steps are: select the surface, use the command "Extract from Surface", then "Extract Solids from Surface". When I want to write the depth (-0.1), if I press the "dot" button on the keyboard, it doesn't write it, so it only writes -01. I did both the latest OS update and Civil 3D updates, but I still have the same problem. I attach the image to explain it better. How can I solve the problem? Thank you!1.JPG

Hi @Anonymous ,

I ran into the same thing. The fastest solution (but not the nicest) is to copy the surface with the correct depth. Then use the same command "Extract Solids from Surface" and select "At a surface" instead of "Depth".

This workaround should work.
