Export to HEC-RAS taking Hours

Hello,

Maybe it is what it is but, its taking several hours to export my cross sections from civil 3d to the geo file for HEC-RAS. Is this common? Is there a setting that i need to have set so it performs better. I'm currently trying export 3 SL cross sections to HEC-RAS everything comes in fine once its done, the issue is I'm burning hours of project time waiting for it to happen. The other day i had to do a much larger number and i had to leave it over night for it to work.

Any ideas or a solid, "it is what it is" would be apricated.

CPU: i7-11850H

GPU: RTX2000

Thanks,

Figured it out. I imported the CL from the HEC-RAS model and made it a polyline. It had way too many vertices. This is what made it take so long. I cut down alignment and now everything is running smoothly.
