export geomap image?

is it possible to export a geomap image to a simple jpg/bmp, etc?  Would like to use it in a powerpoint file. thanks

Sort of, it depends on the C3d version.

 

Pretty sure if using 2015 version and above you can capture the image with This method.

Either use the Capture tool in the geomap tools or plot to a raster file format, or PDF or DWF.

MKH,

 

If you're looking for Simple With a Capital S, hit the "prt sc" key on your keyboard, open Windows Paint, ctl V (paste), then crop. You can even add arrows and lines and text and whatnot. Then save as a jpg or png or bmp.

I suspect this functionality is not provided for licencing reasons - when you do a capture for use in C3D it retains the copyright notice in the bottom corner.

 

If users do random screen grabs then this is lost
