Export a DWG with property set(s) to a shape file

Hi,

I have a DWG file that has points, lines, and polylines with various property sets attached to them. I'm trying to figure out whether I can export these shapes into a shape file that would also include all the property sets so I could open them for example in QGIS? I have managed to export them to shape files but I have no idea how to include the attributes from the property sets. I am trying to do this with Civil 3D 2020, if that matters.

Hi Juuso,
Good question. Can you post your drawing?

Autodesk provides a SHP Import/Export Utilities that may handle your situation.  If that doesn't cover your needs DotSoft's C3DTools contains a ShapeFile Manager that will export (nearly) all CAD and AECC object types along with object properties, property set data, map object data and some forms of xdata.  The export creates multiple shapefiles from multiple object types at the same time (no need to repeat the command).

Also contains multiple import and previewing of graphics & data.
