EPGS codes

Many states within the USA do not currently have EPGS codes assigned for NAD83 state plane coordinate systems.  As we transfer data between Autodesk products and ESRI this becomes an issue as the data is not projected correctly in ArcGIS Pro.

Is there a work around for this within Civil 3D (without needing to utilize the ArcGIS to AutoCAD application add-in to assign the coordinate system which assign a WKID and FIPS code)?

Will Civil 3D be adding the SPSC2022 coordinate systems into the software?

This is the first time I've heard of an issue with C3D not exporting to ESRI correctly.

One thing I've always noticed it how many users set drawings in C3D to NAD83 when they are in NAD83/11 which is NSRS2011.(state)-(zone), would be the correct datum. There is a difference in the two datums and they have different WKID's, FIPS and ESPG codes. Could this be part of your issue?

Thanks for the reply, Rick.  My issue is that my data is in the baseline NAD83, not in NSRS2007 or NSRS2011.  That is why I am having the issue.

Interesting that Montana wouldn't have a EPSG code for NAD83, I'd perhaps but in a support request since a code has been giving for US Survey Feet. But the reason it's not shown is because state law says use International Feet.

Thanks again Rick!  There are actually a number of states in the USA with this same issue.  I work on a number of legacy landfill sites that were set up on NAD83, but never recalibrated to NSRS 2007 or NSRS 2011, and every time I bring the data into ArcGIS it ends up in the wrong space and I have to go in and set the coordinates manually since there is no EPGS, FIPS or WKID.  I just got frustrated enough to put in the forums today. lol
