Editing Data in Alignment & Offset alignment

Hi,

I have a centerline alignment and 2 offset alignments. Alignment type is of Tangent-Spiral-Curve-Spiral-Tangent nature.

I want to edit my alignment geometry data such as spiral length etc. Editing the data depends on the constraint applied on each element as shown in below picture.

I want to understand these different types of constraints and their effect on alignment geometry. Please explain.
For specifics: I want to edit my spiral lengths without effecting the tangent lengths. Please explain how this can be achieved.

Fixed Entity

It is an independent entity. It does not change with other entities.

Floating entity

Floating entity is always maintaining a tangency with the entity it is floating. For example if you add a floating curve to a fixed tangent (line) the curve will always maintain the tangency with the line when ever we change the line.

Free entity

Free entity maintains tangency with the other entities either side of it. What ever the changes you make to the other two entities it will maintain tangency.
