Edit cogo point default

I have set the point styles & labels to what I want to see when I create a point without a description key. Such as 5'FC 0+00. When it appears in the drawing the style is set to default and the same with the point label style.

I have gone to Toolspace/Settings/Point/Comands/CreatePoints/Default Styles and changed it to what I want to see but it is not showing me what I want to see, which is the point number and node when I create a point.

What am I doing wrong?

The commands are a good starting point, but you want to open up your Point Creation Tools in the Home Tab under points. 

Look at he settings there. This is what C3D reads. The command settings is the initial setup, but something could have been changed.

There could be a point group that the points are being controlled by.

Check the Point Style/Label in the top point group, set them to what you want them to be.

Thanks guys!

I found out that if I toggle the “Disable Description Keys” to true it works fine. I just need to remember to toggle it back to false when I want to use the Description Keys.
