*.dwt files

I had created some *.dwt files in Civil 3D 2020.

I do not see them listed under drawing templates in Civil 3D 2021.

How can I import them to Civil 3D 2021

Hi Muthya ,

Your .DWT template file in 2020 is under 2020 version. please follow steps where you can find your DWT and just copy/paste in 2021.

To expand on milos' post above, the steps to set where your templates in 2021 are found would be:

Open Options (either from the big C in the upper left, or type 'options' at the command line)

In the Files tab, find the Template Settings line, and expand it to get to the Drawing Template File Location.

Input the path of where your template files are to be found.

See the image below for an example of what you're looking for to change.
