Drawing arc line by angle

Hi friends, for the life of me I can not figure out how to draw an arced line using a start point, radius point and angle. I have created an radius point 90° off a line, select the command, pick the end of the line, pick the radius point, enter the delta angle. I then select inquiry, line and arc information, click the curve I just created and it gives me the wrong arc length every time.

I can however select "create point by angle and distance", go through the same process. Click end of line, click radius point, enter angle and distance, give the point a description. Then use the command "draw curve by start/end/radius using the end of the line and the new point I just created and the arc length comes out fine. What gives here???

First and foremost, Your template or drawing should have the angle set to DDMMSS (as shown) otherwise by default C3D thinks its a decimal unit.

Now personally I do a arc from a legal description one of 2 ways I just draw lines by Bearing and Distance and when I come to a tangent curve I escape out of the 'BD transparent comman and goto the 'AD transparent command, turn my negative or positive 90 to the RP and then the delta, then an additional 90 for the outgoing tangent (assuming tangent). But on occasion I'll use the curve tools if I'm short on information (have incoming tangent, radius and lenght). This is where Create Curve from End of Object comes into play....

Yes sir, the first thing I checked was the deg, min, sec setting, that was good. It is an old plat and I pretty much have to hold the corners found so they are not going to be perfectly tangent. I was just trying to create the lot "perfectly" as the plat shows it in order to overlay it on top of what was found in the field to see how it fits.

I did use the curve calculator to figure my delta angle but I can not get that particular "draw an arc line" the way I described it to work. However, I completely overlooked the "draw curve from end of object". So maybe I will dump that command and try the end of object command.

End of object works on a negative or positive radius, i.e. positive is curve to the right....
