Draped image on surface is white in other applications

Hi all,

I have draped an aerial image onto my TIN surface.  It looks fine in Civil 3D but importing the surface into other applications shows it has jet white.  What am I doing wrong?  I need to upload this surface onto Speckle for collaborative viewing.
