Switched from 2014 to 2016 and now all of my text masks (MTEXT and DTEXT) plot blacked out.

Under Font Handling, uncheck Capture fonts used in drawing, and check the box to Convert all text to geometry...

I've seen this issue, but what plot are they getting blacked out? When you create a pdf? Or when you plot the pdf to paper? When you plot from C3D to paper? I've seen this issue with users not using the built in DWG to PDF plotter. I've also seen this problem when out of date print drivers on the PCs themselves. Hope this helps!

Hello @Anonymous - post #3 is marked as the solution, but can you elaborate on what worked for you.

Someone will come across this post in the future, and it's not clear what the actual solution is. Thanks.

The reason the textmask printed/plotted blacked out was because the printer driver on my PC was not up to date.
