Ditch inlet catchbasin

I'm modeling a storm pond and I need to include an overflow structure in an embankment. is there something like a ditch inlet catch basin where the frame and inlet is inclined with the embankment. I could just use a regular structure but it would be nice if this could section out properly so I don't have to draw it in manually. couldn't find anything on this online. Thanks in advance.

I think your best option is to do it manually. Feature lines are your friend.

Thanks for your response Todd. I don't think I get your meaning. If I need to i'll draw in the desired appearance in profile/section view. Not sure what feature lines will do for me. Do you mean in terms of modifying the grading?

Yep, that's what I mean. You can also use a feature line to model it and project it to the profile. However, it going to take just as much time to use a feature line with this method, than to just draw it in profile.

My pleasure. Yeah, there are more that will chime in soon. They may have a hack they use in production.

Post #2 was the answer @alexRR6ZB don't burn cells @Todd_Rogers advise is correct, hell I still hand draw sections (little quick and dirty), so that I don't have to do them in C3D (not saying it doesn't help). Sometimes the best/while not easiest, is most practical and efficient.

I like to use the Generic Pavement Structure subassembly to build things.. it has a lot of capability with coding, depth and targeting.. you could target the embankment in your case..
