Displaying Crossing Pipe in Profile

I am having trouble displaying my crossing pipes in my pipe network in my profiles correctly. When I display the pipe in the profile it comes in a a vertical line over another vertical line. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? The pipe I am trying to display is BLUE.

Are you trying to show the ellipse of a pipe that is roughly perpendicular to the alignment, at a structure? If so, then don't 'draw' the pipe in profile, and it will show up by itself.

Hi,

As you can see from your screen shot of the style dialog window there is a crossing pipe in/out pipe that you should turn on, please see the screen capture highlight below:

note that in most cases you will find that the best approach is to have a designated pipe crossing style designated for this particular use, and therefore ultimately you will use the pipe crossing style as a profile view style override. the reason being is that if it is not an override you risk having the pipe not show correctly in plan or in other profile views where the pipe may be parallel instead of crossing...

Hope that helps,

If it is connected to manhole and you are trying to see it the manhole you have to uncheck "draw" and not draw it. What is being shown is the hole in the manhole not the pipe.

That makes sense - to see the hole in the manhole.  I dont see that in my profile - what do I need to do to display the hole in the manhole?
