Is it possible to make any label style to get dimensions between two COGO points like showing in image here.?
I am importing COGO points on Alignment from text file after how its possible to get dimension like this Its around 300-400 points include both down and up lines.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Run a polyline through the points using the 'pn transparent command and then dimension or label that object.
Thank you for your respond can you give in details I am new for CIVIL 3D.
and also please guide how you are saying to dimension the object manual or using any different command?
can we add length of object in label?
Hi Amriya,
To put a picture to Tim @tcorey 's words, draw a polyline from point to point, and then use a line label.

We can use any method to make that PL line? Like manual or using coordinates
Amriya,
"We can use any method to make that PL line?"
Yes. In my example I just clicked node to node to create a polyline with vertices at each COGO point. If your COGO Points are in order you can use the Transparent Command 'PN as Tim suggested. If your points are not arranged in a numerical order you can use 'PO to click on each of them.
