Different volumes using same base data

I'm getting a discrepancy between the Volume Dashboard and the old school AeccReportSurfaceVolume.

For the latter I copied my CR-Raise Levels-Top surface to two new surfaces - Type1 Est and RipRap Est - and used the boundaries from the volume dashboard method as Outer boundaries. The total volume is fine in both cases but the individual split volumes are not in agreement and I've no idea why this should be the case as the boundaries are identical.

Clearly the volumes aren't huge but it does ring alarm bells as to the accuracy of the volumes dashboard - any one any ideas as to what is happening here?

Hi @neilyj666

My thought is that the Mid-ordinate might be different between each method!

Can you PM a Onedrive storage link as I can't share via a public forum? I'm on holiday the rest of the week so won't be able to upload until then
