Desktop App issue persists with 2023 Products

Back in May 2022, I posted about the Desktop App issue with 2019 Product Updates re-appearing again and again despite updates being installed. That post is HERE

The first Autodesk Support Specialist pointed towards a Domain restriction and/or Network Security Update restricting the Desktop App from communicating with the registry to see application updates, thus it's pushing updates again and again. Our IT said there is no such restrictions and requested another Autodesk Support Specialist to review this issue. The second Autodesk Support Specialist worked with our IT. The latest update from Autodesk is:

"No major updates yet. The latest bit the Installation and Development engineers identified in the process was that they found it was deleting a registry key which causes the update to display in the Autodesk Desktop App like it has not been installed (even though it may have been installed already).

The Product Development team is now working on their side of the equation to fix the issue and we're waiting for an update from them.

For the time being, if the users have had the updates installed on their client PCs and it shows that the update was successful via Event Viewer/installation logs, those case be trusted and the Autodesk Desktop App constantly saying the update is available/ready to be installed can be ignored.

I will continue checking in with you every week, please reach out if you have any additional questions between check ins even if it is not related to this on going issue."

This issue persists with 2023 Products as well. Yes, I've already installed these updates once. One of the Autocad Updates landed in the Civil 3D category. Never seen this happen. See pics.

Anyone else experiencing this issue with 2023? Also, even if I ignore the Desktop App totally and only rely on the Autodesk Account to see updates and install updates, it's also showing some updates that I've already installed, not all of them but it does show some.

this is more of an Issue with the Desktop App than the version of software you have installed

the desktop app is broken & has been for a while
