I know I have done this in the past but cant remember where the setting is.
I created a new surface using existing contours but do not wish to keep the
contours used to create my surface in the drawing. After I create the
surface using contours and delete the reference contours my surface erases
as well. I thought it was the "copy deleted dependent objects" option under
build options. I am hoping someone can help me out on this one.
You might want to try taking a surface snapsnot, then getting rid of the contours. Haven't installed anything at home yet, otherwise I would give it a go.
