Is this a degree symbol from doing %%D in text?

Or is this a block or something else?

You'll have to increase that "text" size (which you can only do with MTEXT objects and Multi-line Attributes).
Or change fonts for all of your text to find one that prints best or just for that one symbol (again, easily done in MTEXT and Multi-line Attributes).

The interesting thing when you do that is it throws off the line spacing, so it looks very funky.  In this case I have only increased the height of the degree symbol.

There are other options for the degree symbol you can read about them here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degree_symbol#:~:text=The%20degree%20symbol%20is%20included,U%2B2109%2....

Try using a different font for the degree symbol.  Its not the same size in all fonts.

I generally like using a truetype font these days anyway.  Much more compatible with PDF's.

The size of the symbol is dictated by the font definition, so as everyone is pointing out, you either need to increase your font size, or use a different font.   You could also consider creating your own font that utilizes a larger symbol.  I've done that in the past to add the CenterLine symbol to Arial.  The only downside to this is, every time you share a drawing that uses that font, you have to share the font with it. (So, I really dont recommend using that method.)
