Default Right Click Shortcut Menu - not displaying as required

Now that the C3D UKIE Country Kit 2024 has been released it is time for the annual frustration of transferring my settings over from 2023 to 2024. It was going well until I tried to amend the default right click shortcut menu - I had the same issue with 2022 to 2023 but i can't remember how I resolved the issue.

I have my right click settings in a cuix file and I dragged and dropped into 2024 and they appear as expected

However when I click in the blank drawing window (nothing selected) the following menu appears....

...which corresponds to the right click menu for edit mode...

... I checked my Right Click Customizations and they look ok i.e. Default mode should select the shortcut menu

Can anyone shed any light on why this is happening and more importantly how to get around it - I'm sure it is a simple fix but I can work it out at all?

Thanks

Neil

This probably doesn't help but for grins I opened a blank dwg and did a right click in modelspace as the very first thing and the C3d Help box opened up.  Once I did a command or drew a line then the right-click started acting as expected.

Does the Country Kit include a CUI? Is it loaded as a Partial CUI after the CUI your context menu is in? Does it also have a Default Context menu defined? If so to all of these, then that is the one Autocad will use.

With only your partial screenshot to go by... did you drag-and-drop those entries from the COMMAND LIST portion of the CUI pop-up you have, or was that done from the TRANSFER tab from your C3D 2023/2022 cuix file?
Did you click APPLY to close out of CUI?
Are you still in that same workspace where you performed the edit? Did you manually save your workspace?

is this a shared Enterprise CUI by chance?

Did you restart C3D 2024 or your PC yet 🙂

I transferred as I did for the last release but I now seem to have sorted the issue.

I transferred the 3 context menus from my 2023 install to a partial CUI, deleted the existing ones in the Shortcut menus section and added the partial CUI as per the screenshot

...which gave me the default right Click menu I wanted...
