Data shortcuts--shortcut created, but missing from collection

I have a data shortcut that was created quite a while ago, but it no longer appears in the collection of shortcuts in Data Shortcuts area in the toolspace:

Also, everything appears fine in the Data Shorctus editor:

Anyone ever encounter this before? I haven't found anything on the forums in a couple of searches.

No, as you can see in the Data Shortcuts Manager, the problem is only reiterated, and there doesn't appear to be a shortcut in the list on the right to even connect the object to:

But the shortcut has already been created. The shortcut is in the Profiles folder, it isn't empty, has all the code you'd expect opening it an editor, and the Data Shortcuts Editor shows is existing, and finally if I try to  recreate it, it is grayed out as though it is already created. Yet it doesn't show up on the collection.

I have a suspicion that it could be related to a Sample Line Group that I previously had shortcuts for as well. Using SLG's and Cross Sections a lot more lately, I'm finding that Data Referenced Sample Line Groups are buggy: adding new sample lines in the source (after the initial creation of the reference SLG) won't reflect in the destination file where they're being referenced, neither after Synchronizing nor closing/reopening the drawing. (I also encountered this behavior with SLG data references, missing sample lines and not synchronizing a couple of times years ago.)

Anyway, a sample line group in this same project was bugging out/not synchronizing, and a little after that I discover that I can't see that profile shortcut in the list in Toolspace. Promoting the SLG and removing the data shortcut didn't fix the Profile shortcut problem, though.

(A further a result, I'm pretty sure the reason I can't create a corridor reference any longer is because it uses that messed up Profile shortcut.)
