Hey Everyone,
On of our staff has run into an issue with the data shortcut project folder set up. As CAD Manager I have been trying to find a solution, but everything I could find has to do with the inicial set up of the data shortcut project folder and not my specific issue. Now for the issue. Hope someone can help.
We have created a Data Shortcut Working Folder that is the entirety of our Project Drive, and the Project Folders are set up as part of this working folder. The Project folder has the correct name, it is the only one with that, and the Working Folder and Project Folder have been set up correctly. I have gone though the process of setting the project folder and associating the drawing to that project. The Project folder will stay associated to the drawing while someone is working in it, but as soon as someone leaves the drawing and shuts down Civil 3D, upon reopening the drawing, the project folder is no longer associated to the drawing.
Solutions Attempted:
1. I have deleted the project _Shortcut folder, but it won't delete from our Project Folder list, when I go back in to "Set Data Shortcut Project Folder..."
2. I also attempted to create a new project folder, ignoring that fact that the old is still there, and it seemed to overweight it, but no fix.
Do any of you have other solutions that might work?
