Data Shortcut profile

I created a profile added labels, lines, grade breaks, crest & sag curves.  I created a data shortcut of the profile but cannot get the labels to show.  Used the same dwt for both drawings.  I have added, edited… but still cannot get these to show when I data shortcut the profile.  What am I missing?

Data shortcuts bring you the linework, surface etc.... the labels don't come along for the ride. Each file that gets x shorty, is independent.

Thx for the reply. I  attempted to add the labels and they didn't show up.  I  did resolve this by removing the data shortcut, then create the shortcut again. I  think the issue may have been a result of me bring in the shortcut while on a locked layer. Not certain though since I changed layers before bringing it back in.
