data not appearing after trying to download using points from file

good afternoon.

for some reason when importing files nothing appears and i am unaware why. i select points from file, choose the file, it has a green tick but when i press ok nothing happens. what am i missing.

Let's see what you've got. Please post a point file and a screen shot(s) of your import process.

Also check your point creation setting. Especially the Default Styles.

No error popup like "invalid format"? Is there nothing added to the prospector? maybe you select the wrong format and North is East and East is North and you ended up in Antarctica?
