Cut and fill tables results

Hi is there a way in civil 3d to isolate certain area's across a cut and fill dtm, say for example just the plot areas, and get the results just for those areas, fine with calculating cut and fill it's just the table creation I'm struggling with for specific areas, if anyone can point me in the direction of any tips/websites I would be greatful

@a.szwyd struggling to understand your query but let me give it a try......

 

What I understand is that you have a site stretching from plots A to D (i.e., A-B-C-D) and you compute cut and fill quantities for the entire site but you wish for your the volume tables to isolate or report only the quantities for  for, say, only, plots A and B.

 

If I am correct, I would advise that you make subsets of your formation/datum surface based on the specific sites you need and then use the separate surfaces to define multiple definition criteria using the "import another criteria" tool in the Edit Material List dialogue, as illustrated below.

Your different materials/criteria shall be based on the separate plots' surfaces compared to your EG.
