Curve/Line Label Number Restart

so im trying to do line/curve tag labels and im telling it what number to start with for the next labels and it doesnt do it. so im not sure what im doing wrong.

 

how do i make it start where im telling it to or clear out the old labels ive already deleted

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're saying? If you've cleared out the old labels (erased them), you should be able to label them and it will start over at one. You may have to change all of your values to 0. I've had the labels get hung up in the past for whatever reason. You can select the label and choose "renumber tag".

I did that I deleted the labels and even changed the starting tag to what I wanted it to be and it still kept counting as if those tags still existed.
Renumbering tags works if you want to click on each individual single label. Which isn't the most ideal.

I believe you also need to change the tag creation start # above as well.

Did you reset all the numbers in the Table Tag Creation area or just the renumbering area?

Im not sure what the table tag creation area is. I changed whatever is in the screenshots

In the dialogue box, you have "Table Tag Creation" and "Table Tag Renumbering". Reset all of them to 0 in both areas.

Perhaps I go back too far but back in the day you had to delete the "line" that the previous tag was used on.
