Hello Everyone...!!!
I am working on construction stage of a Road Project in "Mountanious Area" and facing some Problems regarding the cross section view of road.I have some questions on civil 3d Cross section views.
It may be easier to create a Datum Surface and display the Datum Surface instead of the corridor if they are the same?
Turning off the Links involves a few more steps, I would copy the current code set style, edit, rename and apply that code set style.
Then it's easy to switch codes set styles when needed.
Thank you... Problem solved. But if I want to change the shape of Line in code set style, is it possible to do so? See attached image. My 2nd concern is that after hiding the other links, the Cross sectional volume given by C3d will be from my DETUM level to EGL??

Glad it solved your issue, please remember to click the "Accept As Solution" on the post which solved your issue.
To change the shape of the line to match the attached png, you'll need to create a block of the split lines and use that block as a component in the label
The Block Component will replace the Line Component
Then create separate text components for Offset & Elevation (they are combined into one in the default styles)
Then adjust the Text: X/Y offset values for desired placement on the split lines.
Hiding the other Links does not affect anything other than their display. (I don't understand why you'd only show a datum line but I'm sure you have a reason to do so).
To get the earthwork volume > Create a Datam Surface > Create Sample Lines > Create a Materiasls List using EG & Datum surfaces.
That will get the raw earthwork quantites .
