Cross section placement - sections have shifted - how to fix

I have cross sections set up, and they were displaying two to an 11x17 sheet. (I created a production template when I set them up.) All was going well, but after I added earthwork calculations to the sections (see attachments...all I needed was the cut/fill areas you see added in blue to the right of each section), one section was bumped to the next sheet instead of allow two sections on that sheet. It actually happened in two areas, and of course propagated through the rest of the remaining sheets and I'm trying to fix it. The first attachment shows where it happened...two sheets over from the left in the picture, and one sheet over from the right. The issue occurred directly after the only two sections I have where I expanded the horizontal limits to be 60 feet each side of centerline (instead of 50 like the others), so it may be related to that as well. Any ideas?

Hello again @Amanda

When a section view is selected, click the Update Group Layout command on the contextual ribbon. Alternatively right-click the section view group in Prospector and update the layout:

Hope this helps,

Thank you. It seems the only way to fix the issue is to first reduce the left and right horizontal offset limits of those two cross sections back down to only 50 feet each side of centerline. Then when I update the section view layout, the cross sections go back to normal again (two to a sheet). If I try to keep those two sections at 60 feet each side of centerline (or anything over 50 feet actually), it doesn't work. I'm not sure what triggers that issue. I needed the wider offset limits on those two cross sections to show additional features, but at least for now the sections are back in the right place.

Actually, the total length of the sample line affects the section view. If all data cannot be placed inside the view it will shift. You can get more ideas from here.

The addition of the tables for quantities enlarged the section view. You can adjust their location at the bottom of the Change Volume Tables dialog (section view group properties, section view tab). If the reviewers will allow it, I recommend placing them in the view, possibly even centered at the bottom or top of the view.
