Creating pipe network, and pipes are missing

When I create a new pipe network via thru the creation tool or objects. The structures are there but the piping between the structures are not there.

Try resetting your pipe network catalog location.  (SetNetworkCatalog)

the pipes option on the pull down is grayed out. I remember seeing an error about the lisp routine or something.
