Creating Custom Subassembly With Dynamci Codes in Subassembly Composer

Hi,

is there a way to create a custom subassembly with dynamic Codes?

meaning that if i can change the codes not only in subassembly composer, but also in civil 3D.

there in one subassembly in the civil 3D library that allow to change the Codes as I Like --> Generic Pavement Structure

can i create in SAC a custom subassembly like that?

thank you in Advance

Khaled

In SAC you can create an Input Parameter that is Type=String and that will allow you to have dynamic codes.

For example, if you have a string Input Parameter called SurfaceLinkCodes and set the result to Top,Pave1.

Then in when you define L1 instead of putting "Top,Pave1" in the Link Codes you can put SurfaceLinkCodes (note that you do not use the quotes since it is a variable.
