Creating a surface form lines?

Hi guys, so I have a part of a drawing, which is lines with a start and end Z value. The lines represent a drain run, with laterals, at a 1200 wide trench, I want to create a surface over these lines for use in a topcon machine control file. Whats the best way of going about this?

Kind Regards, Will.

You can add the lines to a Surface.

You'll also want to copy the lines and join them into a close polyline or Featureline to use as a Boundary. You may need to Flatten the copies of the lines to join them if AeccJoinFeatures doesn't work

if it were me I would "offset" the lines to create a surface with width along the pipeline. Like the width of the trench plus a little more (so that the machine operator doesn't run out of data). You could create a 3dpoly or feature line from the 3d lines and offset that. Adding a boundary to limit the surface to the pipe run wouldn't hurt either. although if they know where to dig it won't matter.
