Creating a slab and edge beam

Hi all. I would like to have your opinion on this matter. I have created the image attached using Revit to show my intent - one alignment/assembly (red) for the slab and another alignment/assembly (blue) for the edge beam. Is there another way to do this with just one alignment? The red alignment can be curved, the reason why I separated it from the blue alignment. Thank you.

This is not an actual project. I want to expand my knowledge of Civil 3D. Cheers.

Yes.. you could do that in one Corridor with two Assemblies and two Baselines ..

Or make one subassembly in SAC with typical flange type shapes and a curved portion .. parabolic or circular..for the red line..
