Create multiple surfaces automatically and calculate the volume

Hi, I have a design file as in breadlines for about 200 pads alongside a powerline. I have to create surfaces for each one of them and in separate names and layers and also calculate the volume of the earthwork. I was wondering if there is any fast way to do this.

hi @SaeidHajahmadi

you probably need to go with Dynamo or LISP or .net

Hi @SaeidHajahmadi

@essam-salah has right, the most easy of these 3 solutions is Dynamo, but it may work not general but for your file only

Hi @SaeidHajahmadi

I had a look to your file.

let me know if the below are what you want to do.

  1. Create existing ground surfaces from the 3d polylines with layers DES PEC2 PAD ### INT and LBD CBW ### TRACK Str (only red and green, not the orange)
  2. Create "design" or "proposed" surfaces from the 3d polylines with layers DES PEC2 PAD IFC and CBW ### TRACK Str (but only the orange ones, not the red and green)
  3. Create tin volume surfaces and calculate the volumes between the two above surfaces.

Hi, thanks for your time
I want to create design tracks and pads from the lines in the attached drawing. So all of those lines are for the design data. Existing ground is Lidar pickup which is not in attached drawing. I'm attaching the surfaces that I created manually so far. I'm after a way to automize this process, volume calculation will be after finishing the surfaces.
